Hello... this year, all officers decided to let their terms expire without elections.
A lot owner has sent a ballot out to other lot owners, (listing themselves , husband (for President), and wife (Sec. Treas.), and another party (alternate) but a general call for candidates was not made, nor was any meeting called or scheduled.

What is the proper [or legal?] method to get to the point of sending out ballots for election of officers ?

Is it that three members can call for a meeting with 30 days notice, (along with an agenda) and there needs to be one-half of the lot owners present, then a call for nominations and a ballot produced ?

This is all set forth in the Private Ways statute on this site. Check it out and you will see what is required.
