I am trying to understand the relationship that exists between an original approved town subdivision plan, that maps out the roads and access and the covenants and bylaws of a non for profit corporation that exists to take care of roads and common areas. Is it possible that language in evolving covenants for the association/non for profit would have been able to alter the roads and access as shown in the original subdivision plan? Would appreciate hearing about any related insight anyone has between 'approved plans' and covenants for associations/non for profits in Maine. Thanks
