Long story short a foreclosed property sold by the bank to an LLC. After 6 years of filing liens on the previous owner to no avail I now have an owner hiding behind an LLC who I can't communicate with which he definitely plans to airbnb. Any similar experiences?

There must be some party responsible for the LLC.  Find out who the Town sends the tax bill to.  Seems like the bank should have paid off the lien when they sold the property to the LLC, since you say the lien was filed.

Did you try contacting the bank that sold the property to the LLC to ask why the liens were ignored (if in fact the liens were filed correctly and were not out of date or otherwise extinguished)?

Also, you can look up an LLC through the Maine.gov website to find out who are its members.

I posted the link to the Maine.gov corporations division website assuming it is a Maine LLC.  If it is not, most states have the same type of corporations search on the state website.
