If our road association votes to increase our annual road maintenance from say $200 to $300 in 2025 can they 'back charge' me if I've already paid the lower amount 5-years in advance? My argument to the Association would be that they got $1000 in advance that could be used to purchase maintenance items at todays prices versus the higher prices that we can expect 5-years from now.

It seems that you chose to pay five years in advance without knowing what amount the membership would assess for subsequent annual maintenance. I think it would be reasonable for you to be required pay additional amounts for shortfalls and be refunded any excess amounts over the five-year period.

Andrew, Thank you for your response.  Although not the response I was hoping for, it is the response I was expecting.
