The recent posts of how many members, how many directors, has me wondering if anyone is interested in how other Associations make up their board, cost of insurance, age of your Association, how many have gone through a claim process and the results, how is road maintenance handled, tenor of Association (friendly, Hatfields and McCoy, distant) and oddly, I would like to know if any other Association starts their meetings with a prayer (we are a Hatfields and McCoy neighborhood).   I would work on this and post results in the forum.  Here is a question:  How many members does MARA have and where are they geographically?

Great idea, Mary!  I would be interested in the fee structure in particular - one rate for all, different rates for summer/year round, different rates per usage, one winter maintenance rate for all including summer, etc.  I'd be happy to help compile the data.

I'm just now reading this. Wonderful questions and suggestions. The MARA Board is meeting very soon. I moderate our meetings. I will make sure this Discussion Forum posting is on the agenda for serious discussion.
