Grading operator

    A grading operator is different from a grading driver. Does anyone know of any grading operators? Is there any DEP certified grading operators?

    I believe the person to ask would be Pete Coughlan at the DOT.  He can be reached by email at  Peter.Coughlan@maine.gov     

    If you have a grader available but just need an operator, or need someone who can train an operator, I know someone who is a qualified operator but has no grader at present.  Let me know.

    yes we are interested. DOT, peter, lectures every year this topic but has no listing of operators and provides no trainings anymore, verses the DEP trained contractors website.  it would be nice if the DEP and DOT combined both trainings to certify workers as DEP and grading operators then posted it for people to hire them.
